IEN Our Spiritual Ties to the Earth

Are you interested in learning what your religious tradition has to say about environmental care?  Or what about the environmental teachings of other religious traditions?

This workshop incorporates the environmental teachings of numerous world religions and indigenous traditions into guided activities and group discussions.  Together we will discuss the religious barriers to environmentalism and the religious benefits to environmentalism.  We will also spend time discussing quotes from religious texts and spiritual leaders before responding to discussion questions about their connection to ecological efforts in your local congregation or in your home.
